What is a “blind spot”? How does the vehicle’s blind spot warning system work? Does the blind spot system come with the vehicle?

Many accidents are caused by blind spots that drivers don’t notice and can’t see through the side mirrors.

When driving, it is important to make sure that your side mirrors are properly adjusted. Blind spots can still be seen with side mirrors no matter how accurate they are set. Blind spots are one of the biggest problems in safe driving. Most of the accidents that occur during lane changing are experienced due to reasons that are hidden behind the driver's rear diagonal and are not noticed by the mirrors. The viewing angle at the extreme point of mirrors is where it ends. You may not see your vehicle in the blind spot if you are looking at the mirror as you change lanes. To see the point, you can simply lean forward and change your view in mirror. As you drive, this can cause distractions.

Blind spot warning system warns the driver with a warning light on the side mirror if there is a vehicle in the vehicle's blind spot. Infrared sensors are used in this technology. These sensors scan objects within 6 meters of your vehicle and activate the warning light in your side mirrors. This allows the driver and passenger to safely change lanes.

New model vehicles have been extensively equipped with a blind spot warning system. It is possible to apply this system later on, but the cost is very high.
