What is the C0035 fault code What is Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Failure? How do I fix C0035 fault code What are the symptoms and causes for the C0035 error code?
What is C0035 Fault Coding? What does it stand for?
To determine the speed of wheels spinning, wheel speed sensors are used. These sensors transmit data to an anti-lock brake system (ABS), module. This information is used by the module to control the ABS, traction control, and stability control. This information is also used to maintain the speedometer in operation.
The ABS module continuously monitors wheel speed sensors. The ABS module will set a fault code if there are any suspicious changes to the transmitted signal. If any malfunction in the left front wheel speed sensor circuit is detected, Fault Code C0035 is activated.
This code is often found on Chevrolet vehicles such as the Chevy Silverado (uplander), Equinox, Trailblazer, Trailblazer, and Impala.
What is the C0035 Fault Code and Why Does It Happen?
- Faulty left front wheel speed sensor
- – Reluctor wheel for damaged wheel speed sensor
- – Problems with the left front wheel speed sensor circuit (eg bad wiring or loose connections).
- – Left front wheel speed sensor weak electric signal
- – ABS module problem (eg old software)
What are the C0035 Fault Code Significances?
- – Illumination at the check engine lights
- – Warning light Anti-lock Braking System
- – Additional warning indicators (eg traction and stability control)
- – ABS, traction control, and stability control systems not working
How to Fix the C0035 Fault Code
Your vehicle’s make/model may affect the symptoms and causes. Your vehicle may have other codes in addition to C0035. This can complicate the diagnosis.
- – Connectors and harnesses must be checked. Damaged wires and loose connections must be repaired.
- – Replace the left front wheel speed sensors.
