What is the function of the LPG float? What is the purpose of the LPG flotation? Let’s look at some general information about LPG floating (Multivalf )…..).

Mounted on top of the LPG tank, is the LPG floating. It adjusts gas filling levels and detects current gas level in the tank using the sensor. This information is transmitted to the LPG level indicator on the vehicle. The tank’s fuel level can be viewed from the inside of the vehicle. It sends the liquid LPG to its regulator via the electronic valve by following the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) command.

LPG floats first pass the gasoline taken from the fuel pumps. LPG floats can be adjusted to fill the tank up to 80%. The tank should hold no more than 40 LT gas. When the tank is full, the cutter on float cuts off the gas automatically. The tank’s remaining 20% allows it to expand due to heat. This prevents excessive pressure inside the tank. The “Pressure Relief Valve”, which relieves excessive pressure inside the tank, will be used if the tank is full.

The “Overflow Valve” is an electronic valve that cuts off any gas leaks when pipes are broken from tank to engine.

If there is a gas leak within the float, the gases cannot be emitted from the vehicle thanks to the ventilation pipes and cover in the cylinder tank. The gas leakage is contained in a transparent, sealed cover that can be removed from the ventilation pipes.

It is crucial to make sure that the float fits the tank and the float assembly aligns with the horizontal position. Different tank types and sizes require different sizes of floats.
