It is an electromagnetically controlled valve that is installed between the LPG tanks and the evaporator. This valve’s function is to shut off LPG flow when the engine does not run or when it is starting with gasoline .
The tank’s liquid LPG enters the solenoid valve’s accumulation chamber (decontamination Chamber). LPG liquid passes through the filter from the tank to the gas reserve area. From there, it flows through the gas passage canal to the solenoid valve’s upper section. The push rod interrupts the flow of LPG towards an evaporator, when the vehicle has been started with gasoline.
The LPG solenoid vale loses power at a rate of 1 kg/cm2. The valve can pass 130 kg/hour. The working environment temperature is between –29 oC and +90 oC. LPG solenoid vales are mounted on the vehicle’s body from the nearest point to the evaporator. The valve must be mounted vertically during assembly.
