Why does the engine produce oil? Why does oil get lost in cars? What are the solutions to this problem?
Car owners face many problems, including oil burning and reduction. Each engine has the ability to reduce oil consumption by a certain amount per kilometer. You can find information in the manuals for some vehicles about this. You should immediately address any oil burning or reduction problems that exceed the prescribed values.
Exhaust from oil-burning engines emits blue or dark blue smoke. It blows when the engine covers are opened. The dipstick can be checked at regular intervals to determine how much oil the vehicle has lost. If you park your car on a dry floor, you can see if there is oil in the vehicle. Oil leaks in the engine and on the floor can indicate a leak in either the crankcase or seals.
If the engine is burning oil, it means that the pistons and rings are either worn or missing. The engine collects oil from the bottom. This oil has two main functions: it lubricates the pistons and helps to prevent their wear. It contributes 25% to cooling the engine and prevents it from overheating. At the top of each piston is an air+fuel mix. When the rings and pistons become loose or worn, oil can leak from the worn area. This oil then passes into the combustion chamber where air+fuel+oil is possible. If this happens, the engine will start burning oil.
Problems with intake valves can lead to oil burning. These problems can cause oil to accidentally spill into the combustion chamber, which will result in oil burning.
Problems in the turbo system and malfunctions are another reason the engine can burn oil. The turbo system can leak oil, which could cause the turbo to leak into the exhaust. Due to the high temperature, high pressure and oil content in the exhaust, the oil could burn. This situation shows that oil can also burn outside of the engine.
A damaged cylinder head gasket could also be a reason. The oil will mix with the combustion chamber if the gasket is not working properly. This can adversely impact the vehicle’s traction. You should replace the gasket immediately.
It is recommended that the oil-burning vehicle be taken to the service. Reconditioning refers to the replacement of engine parts like cylinder heads, pistons, and rings. When the engine is being repaired, it’s important to replace any worn gaskets or main bearings with new ones.
These are just a few of the many reasons why oil can be lost or burned. Poor quality oil or excessive speed can cause oil loss.
