What is the P0867 Fault code? What does it all mean?
A P0867 code is defined as “Transmission Oil Pressure Problem” If the powertrain control module (PCM), detects that the transmission oil pressure is not equal to the manufacturer’s set value, it will trigger.
Transmission fluid is used to cool and lubricate the transmission in automatic transmission vehicles. An oil pump regulates hydraulic pressure to allow for gear changes. Transmissions must be able to function properly if the oil pressure is within a set range.
