What is the P2146 Fault Code and what does it mean? What does it signify?
The fuel injectors regulate how much pressured fuel is delivered to the engine each cycle. Fuel injectors are found in every cylinder. For easy control and monitoring, the powertrain control unit (PCM) divides these injectors in two groups: “A” and “B”. Code P2146 will be set if the PCM detects more than one fuel injection in group A. Refer to the manual for your vehicle to locate “A” fuel injectors.
