What is a sealing document? What is a sealing report? What is the validity of the sealing report ?….?
It is the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers’ report that the vehicle has no gas leaks. This was based on the inspection of LPG/CNG vehicles. Vehicles with LPG processing on the vehicle's license or vehicles that have been assembled by an authorized company can receive this report if the assembly is appropriate and the vehicle's impermeability is ensured after having their vehicles checked by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers.
Vehicles with an LPG license can apply to any Chamber of Mechanical Engineers unit to obtain this report. Newly assembled vehicles, on the other hand, can receive the "SMM" certificate given by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, the "Leakage Report" and the "Assembly Detection Report" supplied with the vehicles from the same unit, from whichever unit the assembly company received.
The Sealing Report has a validity period of 1 month. LPG vehicles must also be inspected within a month. This report must be obtained by private cars every two years, and commercial vehicles every one year prior to the vehicle inspection.
The Chamber of Mechanical Engineers prepares the Assembly Detection report based on the documents in printed form that were provided to authorized companies. The engineer who installed the vehicle approves the Assembly Detection Report of newly assembled vehicles when they arrive at the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers.
The Chamber of Mechanical Engineers has begun to issue LPG/CNG Licenses to LPG vehicles as of March 1, 2006.
