It is responsible for ensuring that engine coolant (also known as radiator water) is drained from your cooling system.

Older vehicles don’t have a radiator water draincock. These vehicles do not have a radiator water drain cock. To change the fluid in the heater, the radiator hose must first be taken out. The radiator must then be taken out to stop the acidic fluid causing damage to other components. This saves both the vehicle owners and makes the job of the mechanics much simpler.
