What is the P0880 fault code? What does it signify?
The engine should be started when the key is turned. “On” When the vehicle is in its final position, the powertrain controller module (PCM), performs a system inspection. If the PCM detects faults in the transmission module power input signal circuit, the PCM will test the voltage and make sure that the TCM is powered on.
A computer that monitors and controls the transmission’s operation is called the transmission control module (TCM). It can either be integrated into the PCM, or it can stand alone depending on the manufacturer. Like other control modules, it receives input signals via switches and sensors. This information is used for controlling the clutch and shift solenoids. These components provide information that allows for smooth transmission operation and correct gear changes.
